About the event
Leopard Arts presents a stirring line-up of writers and musicians for an intimate evening of entertainment at The Blue Lamp. This curated set of four long form performances brings to the stage a scintillating collection of highly-rated, locally-based performers and enjoy a fine collection of poetry, creative monologues and acoustic music.
The line-up is a follows:
Fiyin Fakunle // Winner of this year's University of Aberdeen English Literature Society Poetry Slam and accomplished musician of soulful acoustic numbers. Fiyin's work encompasses themes ranging from personal struggles to social
justice.
Fin Hall // Prolific, seasoned, yet never stale - Fin Hall brings decades of poetic experience and a repertoire brimming over with fierce polemics, tender monologues, and light-hearted verses.
Ally McLeod // An ever adept multi-instrumentalist, Ally McLeod has the mesmerising ability to summon traditional tunes, Folk classics and original songs from the Guitar, Banjo, and Mandolin.
Ask Vestergaard // Ask Vestergaard's pen (or keyboard) erupts with off-beat prose stylings in an extraordinary whirlwinds of writing. Sometimes humourous, sometimes spine-chilling, ever extraordinary.
£5 Entry, The Blue Lamp, Gallowgate. May 6th, Doors 7:30pm for 8pm start.
We anticipate this event will last roughly 3 hours.
